Prime — AI Weight Loss Coach

Prime is built local-first. There is no account, no sign-up, and no user profile on any server. Your food log, weight history and photos live on your phone. This page explains precisely what stays on the device, the one thing that leaves it, and why.
The short version. Everything you log is stored only on your phone. When you ask Prime to analyse a meal, that single photo or description is sent to our server and forwarded to Google's Gemini AI to be read. It is not stored, not linked to your identity, and not used to build a profile of you. Nothing else ever leaves your device.

The following never leaves your phone unless you explicitly export it. It is held in the app's private storage (a local database and the app's documents folder) which other apps cannot read:
We cannot see any of this. It is not backed up to us, and there is no server-side copy to request or delete.
Settings → Save a backup writes a file containing your logged data to a location you choose. Once you save or share that file it is governed by whichever service you put it in (for example your cloud drive), not by this policy. We never receive it.
Prime sends data off the device in exactly one situation: when you ask it to analyse a meal by photo, by text description, or by barcode.

The install identifier is a random value. It is not your advertising ID, not your device serial, and not derived from anything about you or your hardware. It cannot be traced back to you, and reinstalling the app produces a new one. Your name, email and phone number are never sent because Prime never asks for them.
Prime also sends a small, fixed set of anonymous events so we can tell whether the app actually works — whether people get through setup, whether the AI succeeds or fails, and whether people come back. Without this we are guessing, and a wrong guess about a health app is worse than an intrusive one.

We do not build a profile of you. The analytics service is instructed on every event not to create a person record, and we never link the install identifier to a name, an email or any other identifier — because we do not have one. There is no session recording and no automatic screen or tap capture: only the specific events listed above are ever sent, and nothing is collected simply because you opened a screen.
All transmission uses HTTPS.
Each is requested in context, only when you first use the feature, and each is optional — declining only disables that one feature.
Prime does not request microphone, speech recognition, location, contacts, or health-record access.
Prime is a calorie and weight-management tool intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and because the app requires no account we hold no user records to identify or delete. Anyone under 18 should use Prime only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or clinician.
Data on your phone is held in the app's private, sandboxed storage and is protected by your device's own passcode and encryption — so please keep a screen lock enabled. Requests to our service travel over HTTPS. Because we store no accounts and no meal history, there is no central database of user data to breach.
You have direct and complete control, without needing to ask us:
To be precise about the one exception: the anonymous product events and any crash reports described in section 3 have already been sent by the time you uninstall, and they remain with our processors under the random install identifier. They contain no meal content, no measurements and nothing identifying — we cannot connect them to you, and after you uninstall neither can anyone else, because the identifier only ever existed on that installation.
Depending on where you live you may also have statutory rights under laws such as Thailand's PDPA, the EU/UK GDPR, or the CCPA. Because we hold no identifiable personal data, we normally have nothing to retrieve or erase in response to such a request. If you still want the events from a particular installation removed, write to privacy@careeloops.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Prime's calorie, macro and target figures are AI-generated estimates, not measurements, and will sometimes be wrong. Prime is a general wellness and education tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Consult a doctor or dietitian before changing how you eat, particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18, have diabetes, kidney or heart disease, or any history of an eating disorder.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, note it in the app. Continuing to use Prime after an update means you accept the revised policy.
